Harry and William’s divide remains today as we speak and that was visible when the Duke of Sussex chose to return home to the United Kingdom.
The Spare author had to face the humiliation of his older brother not speaking to him and having his back towards him during the entire service.
Those gathered in the audience were quick to mention that there was a cold atmosphere between the two. Both Harry and William may have been in the same room but they did not talk, sit, stand, or see each other’s faces.
It was sad for Harry because the last time he was here, he got the same reception where his father was ‘too busy’ to see him, and now this.
The palace doors were also closed for the Prince who had to take refuge at his mother’s childhood residence. He was welcomed with open arms and insiders believe that while the world turns their faces on Harry, Diana’s family vow to be there until the end.
Seeing Harry’s presence was shocking to some but many were pleased he had come over and shown respect to his late uncle, even if the stay was brief.
