Legendary film legend from France, Alain Delon has passed away at the age of 88.
According to reports from local media outlets, the star was surrounded by his close family and friends as he passed away in the middle of the night.
The actor was said to be in poor health, ever since he suffered from a stroke in the year 2019. This meant he could rarely leave his estate in France’s Val de Loire region.
Delon’s career was launched in 1960 and he was famous for his great looks and charming persona. He played pretty boy killers and a lot of mysterious schemers such as in Purple Noon.
This was followed by more hits including The Talented Mr Ripley, The Leopard, and more. The news left fans heartbroken as many recalled all his great contributions to the world of cinema and how hard he worked to entertain his fans.
Tributes from his colleagues in the industry and fans from all over the globe started to pour in after the news went viral on social media.
In 2023, his three children shocked the world when they complained and launched a legal case against his assistant for threatening behavior and harassment. They fought the case in the public court and demanded justice for their father who was in poor health.
