Kim Jong Un EXECUTES 30 Officials Over Floods in North Korea That KILLED 4,000

North Korea’s head of state, Kim Jong Un has been accused of issuing orders to get 30 officials executed over failure to prevent a massive flooding tragedy.

 

According to local media outlets, more than 4000 people have died in the natural catastrophe which included flooding and landslides across the country during this summer.

An official working under Kim’s regime stated that 30 officials were charged with corruption and not performing their duties correctly. This led them to reap the consequences of their actions which included harsh capital punishment.

All the officials were believed to have been executed at the same time last month, the official mentioned to the Korean news outlet during an interview.

Previously, reports spoke about Kim’s orders for strict punishment but failed to delineate the degree or extent of punishment.

Now, it’s been confirmed as an execution as more than 15,000 people were also displaced due to the floods, aside from the massive death count.

The North Korean leader is notorious for his dictatorship so the reports don’t come as a surprise to experts around the globe. Meanwhile, the officials are yet to be identified but the report did note that amongst those was the committee secretary from the Chagang province.
