Breastfeeding has been a controversial and taboo topic in the past but today, more women are feeling comfortable speaking about the matter in public.
This next story happens to be related to one mother who revealed through an anonymous post on the Reddit app how she continues to breastfeed her child today, despite her being five in age.
The news stunned many as the mom explained how that was done as a treat for the child to overcome the jealousy factor taking center stage over here from another sibling.
Many were horrified to hear the mother’s stance and how she found all of this to be alright and fed breastmilk to a well-grown child who was five. Others called her out as abusive and causing significant harm to her children as they would consider the practice to be alright when they’re grown up.
“You’re supposed to be setting the right example. Who breastfeeds as a treat?”- asked one mortified commenter.
Another person called the mother out for parenting skills and advised her to seek counseling as this was just not normal. “It’s not okay and you shouldn’t be promoting this act”- explained one more disgusted viewer.
