Tori Spelling’s journey on “Dancing with the Stars” may have ended far too soon, leaving fans with a sense of disappointment, but the actress is embracing her elimination with gratitude and a newfound sense of empowerment.
It was an emotional rollercoaster on “Dancing with the Stars” this week as Tori Spelling became the latest celebrity to hang up her dancing shoes.
On Week 2 of the show, the actress and her pro partner, Pasha Pashkov, performed a heartfelt rumba to “This Is Me” from “The Greatest Showman.”

While their routine earned a respectable 19 out of 30, bringing their two-week total to 36, it wasn’t enough to keep Spelling in the competition. Her elimination sent shockwaves through the audience, leaving fans divided.

Reactions were swift, with one fan bluntly stating, “I feel bad for Pasha but I’m not shocked Tori went home.” The fan continued by pointing out that though many people from Spelling’s generation are familiar with her and have followed her career over the years, her reputation isn’t exactly favorable.

Others weren’t surprised either, with one commenter noting, “She’s not one of the popular or well-loved 90210 actors.” Another added, “My Gen X mother said something similar about Tori and people not liking her.”

However, Spelling’s departure wasn’t met with unanimous approval. One fan voiced their dismay, “She deserved to stay! I’m still in shock!” Another shared the same sentiment, writing, “I can’t believe she was voted out. She deserved a few more weeks.”

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong stole the show with their breathtaking rumba to Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For.”
Judge Carrie Ann Inaba was moved to tears, gushing, “You created some moments there that, like, I think, touched us all, like when dance can go inside and like, pull all your organs and your heartstrings like that, it’s really powerful.”
Inaba continued, praising Kinney’s early mastery of such emotional depth, predicting, “You are so young, and you championing that so early in the season makes me think you might do quite well.”
Meanwhile, Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart struggled with their waltz to “The Godfather” theme, landing at the bottom of the leaderboard with a low score of 15 out of 30. Their combined score for two weeks stood at 30, making them likely contenders for next week’s elimination.
While the debate over her elimination continues to stir conversation, it seems Spelling has embraced her departure with a positive outlook.
Spelling shared that she has been a long-time fan of the show, admitting that for years, she wasn’t sure if joining was even a possibility and that the idea initially terrified her. At 51, she confessed that a part of her wondered why she hadn’t joined sooner.

Nevertheless, she emphasized her belief that everything happens for a reason and that her experience unfolded exactly as it was meant to. Despite the brevity of her time on the show, she described it as incredible.
“It’s been an unbelievable journey. I understand it was short but the transformation in me internally and externally has been huge in two weeks,” she said.
Tori Spelling was eliminated from the show alongside Anna Delvey, who, in contrast to Spelling, seemed less than enthusiastic about her departure. When asked what she took away from the experience, Delvey bluntly responded, “nothing.”
