Shocking reports are speaking about a terrifying incident that arose on a Ferris Wheel in Germany.
According to reports from local media outlets, fairgoers were left to do nothing except watch in horror as the wheel rotated with carts on fire.
Shocking footage from the tragic incident showed raging flames and a large amount of thick black smoke that billowed from the attraction site at the Highfield Festival in Leipzig Germany.
Meanwhile, some witnesses spoke about how people were still onboard the ride when the fire took place at about 9 pm.
More than 30 people were rushed to a nearby hospital and were treated for injuries. Meanwhile, some footage showed how people were screaming and crying as their loved ones were inside and yelled for help as the flames continued to get out of control.
One woman in the crowd can be heard mentioning, ‘s**t’ as music is played in the background.
The wheel seemed to have at least 24 carts and some were so close to those two which were on fire. This meant it wouldn’t take long before they would be engulfed in the fire as well.
Four cops were also injured in the incident while two of the victims were said to have suffered serious injuries as reported by The Sun recently. Investigations are taking place to determine what exactly went wrong.
