Urgent Search For 6-Year-Old Kansas Girl Ends In Tragedy After Remains Found In Backyard

The urgent search for a missing six-year-old girl from Kansas has reportedly ended in tragedy.

 

According to reports from local media outlets, the police confirmed that the search had come to an end today after they made a tragic finding.

This included stumbling upon the young child’s remains that were found inside her adoptive family’s backyard.

Authorities identified the human remains that were present in the backyard of the Rose Hill residence in Kansas on September 11.

As per the Rose Hill Police Department’s press release, they belonged to Kennedy Jean Schroer who was born on July 14, 2014.

The young child was adopted by Crystina and Joe Schroer in the year 2018. Cops spoke about how she passed away in November 2020 when she would have been six in age.

Kennedy’s body was so decomposed that the Sedgwick County Forensic Science Center couldn’t even figure out the cause of her death.

They later went on to confirm her real identity via DNA analysis. Moreover, there were no signs of any visible injuries, healing or healed, seen on her body.
