Terrifying reports are speaking about a man who allegedly sold his own child for the sake of money.
While the baby’s mother was away, the father thought the only way he could get some cash back to pay for his illegal gambling activities is if he sold his offspring.
The incident took place in Indonesia recently where the child victim was only 11 months old. The deal was finalized on Facebook without his wife’s knowledge and consent.
More details revealed how he tried to cover up the news by claiming he was desperate and how his habit of betting on money was getting out of control.
The father got 15M Indonesian Rupiah in return which is just equivalent to 730 Pounds. He then sank all of that money into his online gambling activities.
How he was caught was also alarming. It was the child’s biological mother who returned to their residence in Tangerang when the ordeal arose. She saw that her child was missing and therefore immediately sounded the alarm. She knew something was suspicious after seeing her husband’s face.
More investigations into the incident are taking place as the father is currently behind bars for a huge criminal offense.
