Terrifying and tragic reports have confirmed the death of a young child who died under the most bizarre and shocking circumstances.
As per reports from local media outlets, the parents of the child were very religious and that’s why they chose to have his delivery at home instead of at the hospital.
The couple were so excited to see the baby and after the arrival, they began to pray over him when they saw he was having some difficulties with breathing.
The child was turning blue and it was evident that he needed an immediate source of oxygen and medical attention. Yet the parents ignored all the warning signs and continued to pray.
The Geelong couple had the birth at home as they believed in the concept of free birth. They did not like the decision to use medical support and therefore even didn’t make use of it during the pregnancy period and relied solely on faith.
As per the coroner’s office, the couple liked to do their research online and listened to books and testimonies.
The pair lived with the baby’s paternal grandmom spoke about no issues at birth and even mentioned that the child was a healthy four kilograms.
But at the time of his death, he was 2.87kg, leaving questions on what exactly went wrong. More investigations into the cause of death are now taking place.
